My father served aboard several ships during his 14 year career in the US Navy. He served with the pride and honor of a sailor. Besides his family, the sea was his life. This entire site started with conversations to scan and preserve his pictures and slides from the 50's, 60's and 70's and continues to evolve.
We have collected a few pictures from the internet but many are scans from slides he took during his career. This page is somewhat under construction, but I hope you enjoy what is here for now. We will update this page with items we have from his tours, including many parts of his DD214 and any pictures or stories we come across.
